Vethea Cole (they/them) is the Program Assistant providing support for CSLS, the Jurisprudence and Social Policy Program, and Legal Studies. They received their A.A. degrees in Political Science and Social & Behavioral Sciences from Allan Hancock College before transferring to U.C. Berkeley and obtaining their B.A. degree in Gender Studies.
Along with a background in mental health care, equity advocacy and harm reduction, Vethea’s contributions are rooted in community care, racial justice, and expanding accessibility– especially for QTBIPOC. Outside of work, they enjoy being in nature, cooking, studying Philippine herbalism and tending to the land.
