Vethea Cerna is the Program Assistant providing support for CSLS, the Jurisprudence and Social Policy Program, and Legal Studies. She received her A.A. degrees in Political Science and Social & Behavioral Sciences from Allan Hancock College before transferring to U.C. Berkeley and obtaining their B.A. degree.
Along with a background in mental health care, equity advocacy and harm reduction, Vethea’s contributions are rooted in community care, racial justice, and expanding accessibility. Outside of work, they enjoy hiking and studying Philippine herbalism.
