Bio/CV:
Anna Zaret is a Ph.D. Candidate in Jurisprudence and Social Policy. Her work explores how law responds to appeals to scientific authority, with a particular focus on the intersection of policing, medicine, and the law. She was previously a fellow at the UCSF-UC Law Consortium on Law, Science and Health Policy and at the Law, Economics, and Politics Center at Berkeley Law. Before graduate school, she clerked for the Hon. Laurel Beeler in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and received her J.D. magna cum laude from UC Law, San Francisco, where she was the Senior Articles Editor at UC Law Journal and a Tobriner Social Justice Fellowship recipient.
